TERMS OF THE COMPETITION


 

ELIGIBILITY

  • This event is open to all amateur male and female golfers.
  • Golf professionals local to the Triple Cities region are permitted to play as well, limit one professional per team as long as the professional and/or their partner meets TCGA Membership requirements.
  • TCGA Region includes the counties of Broome, Chenango, Tioga, Delaware, Susquehanna (PA) and Bradford (PA).

 

FIELD SIZE AND WAIT LIST

The field is limited to the first 60 two-person teams to apply. After the field limit is reached, teams will be placed on a wait list in order by their time of registration. If your team is charged but is not admitted into the field from the waitlist, you will be refunded in full.

 

ENTRIES, DEADLINE, AND REFUND POLICY

  • Entries: An entry must be submitted online with payment prior to the deadline. Late entries will not be accepted, regardless of reason.
  • Entry Fee: $150 per team ($75 per player). This includes all green fees, cart fees, lunch, prize pool, skins, and closest to the pin contests. Host course members should discuss any entry fee reimbursements with host course.
    • Please note - due to our new payment processing platform and substantially higher transaction fees, American Express is no longer able to be accepted as a form of payment for online registrations. All other major credit cards are accepted.
  • Deadline: Completed entries must be received prior to the deadline (5PM EST on Wednesday April 23, 2025). Late entries will not be accepted, regardless of reason.
  • Refund Policy: The entry fee, less a $10 service fee, will be refunded if a player withdraws prior to the close of registrations. No refund will be awarded after the registration deadline.

 

FORMAT & DIVISIONS

The format is 18 holes of competition, two-person scramble format, played from the blue tees. There will be only one division; however, female golfers may play from the red tees and men age 70+ may play from the white tees.

 

PLAYER OF THE YEAR POINTS

This is a counting event for the Remlik’s Player of the Year as outlined on the Point System and Eligibility page.

 

RULES

All play will be governed by the USGA Rules of Golf. Players will be provided a "Notice to Players" rules sheet containing local rules and conditions. The TCGA and/or the host course golf professional will be available to provide rulings and answer questions.

GOLF CARTS

The golf cart rental fee is included in the entry fee.

 

LUNCH

Lunch is included in the entry fee, and will be served from approximately 11:00AM to 3:00PM on the restaurant deck.

 

RANGE

The range is located at the golf course and range balls are not included in entry fee.

  

PRIZES

Prize payouts will be awarded as cash to approximately 20% of the field. There will be a $20 per team skins game included as part of the entry fee. The closest to the pin prize payouts will be determined based on the number of registered contestants
